The area around village Lake Luise, Alberta became the third ski resort around town Banff, after Mt.Norway and Sunshine Village, but it is so well developed, that several times competed for hosting Winter Olympics. Since 1980 it hosts World Cup races traditionally at the begining of the season. This year The Bombardier Lake Louise Winterstart reces are scheduled for Nov 27-28 men,and Dec 3-5 women. The quality of runs won to the resort a membership of prestigious Club 5, an organization that brings together 13 of the most famous and historic World Cup alpine racing courses in the world.
Among 139 runs the experienced skiers will enjoy 43 of double black, the other can take a lesson from Lake Louise TELUS Winter Sports School instructors, or join the free tour carried by the volunteers two times a day.
