The nice landscape is also around Zauberberg, which during the night becomes really magic, due to the artificial light on the slopes.
Almost all slopes are illuminated, and with 13 km of runs Zauberberg is Europe’s largest night skiing area.
There are easy runs for families, medium runs like the Kogel run and the advanced FIS Weltcup-Piste Panorama run that hosts various ski competitions.
During the night illuminated are also Tobogganing Run as well as Split-Park for snowboarders and free-style skiers.
Ski rental, ski school free lift for children with the spacial area for kids will make the successful family weekend.
There are trails for cross-country skiing, hiking and, if you are tired a bit – horse sleigh rides.
There are two resorts around Spital at the Semmering/Stuhleck and Steinhaus/Schmolllifte which with Zauberberg consist common area Semmering Pass.
